Our datacenter provided us an update that their upstream provider was having an unknown issue. They will be providing us a full root cause analysis when complete. To resolve the issue, they removed that provider and service was restored. During this time, we setup additional failovers for more services to better handle this in the future. From our external monitoring services were available with an issue once every five minutes in some locations worldwide.

We have identified that our offsite backup process was consuming too many resources. We have terminated the process and will reschedule it for a later time after hours.
